Privacy Policy

The short version: the Memory Mill app collects nothing. Everything you do in it stays on your iPhone.

The app

Memory Mill has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. The app does not connect to the internet.

Your progress (your answers, levels and settings) is stored only on your iPhone. Like other app data, it is included in your iPhone's own iCloud or computer backups if you use them. Those iCloud backups are yours, subject to the privacy guarantees provided by Apple for iCloud.

Deleting the app deletes that progress.

Backups you make

In Settings you can choose Back up progress. This makes one file with your progress and opens the iPhone share sheet for you to decide how to share it. Memory Mill does not receive that progress backup. Restore from a backup reads a file you pick from your phone storage.

Anyone you give that file to can read it. It holds your practice history and nothing else.

This website

memorymill.app is a static website hosted on Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront). It has no accounts, cookies, analytics or ads.

CloudFront keeps standard access logs of requests to the site: the IP address, time, page requested, referring page and browser type. We use them only to see which pages are read and how people find the site. They are deleted automatically after 180 days.

Pages use fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser also requests those fonts from Google, which sees your IP address as part of that request. See Google's privacy policy.

Children

Memory Mill does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
